01 · RESEARCH

Heat stress starts before the destination.

Urban areas become warmer when natural cover is replaced by buildings and infrastructure that retain heat and restrict wind flow. The result is a commute that can quickly become physically stressful.

02 · DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Shape meets airflow.

03 · SPOT COOLING

Cool the pulse points.

AERO targets the neck, where blood vessels sit close to the skin. Cooling this area supports the body’s natural evaporation process and offers a practical place for fast, hands-free relief.

04 · FUNCTIONAL PROTOTYPE

Designed to be made and worn.

A functional prototype brought the electronics—battery, motor and airflow system—into a 3D-printed housing. The orange parts show the object moving from concept to a working wearable.
